Commission Details
Simple, transparent earnings
Everything you need to know about how you earn and get paid.
- Commission rate
- 10% of the eligible order value on every order placed through your link or code.
- Eligible order value
- The product price paid by the customer after discounts, excluding taxes, shipping and gift cards.
- Follower discount
- 10% off with your personal discount code. It cannot be combined with other codes.
- Tracking
- Sales are credited to you when a customer uses your unique affiliate link or your discount code at checkout.
- Approval period
- Commission is approved after our 30-day return window, so only completed, non-returned orders are paid.
- Payouts
- Monthly, through your Shopify Collabs account, for all commissions approved in the previous period.
- Earnings cap
- None. The more you share, the more you earn.
- Programs
- Open access: anyone can join instantly. Tier One: invite-only, for top-performing creators.

Example: a follower buys a $100 necklace with your code. They pay $90 after the 10% discount, and you earn 10% of $90 = $9.00, paid in your next monthly payout once the return window has passed.

These rules keep the program fair for every creator and honest for every customer.
✓Do
- Clearly disclose the partnership in every post, e.g. #ad, #TopsyJewelsPartner or "affiliate link", following FTC and local advertising rules.
- Describe products accurately: natural gemstone, cultured pearl or lab-grown moissanite, in 925 sterling silver or 18K gold vermeil.
- Share your link and code on your own channels: social media, video, blog, newsletter and Pinterest.
- Tag @topsyjewels so we can see, like and share your content.
- Use your own photos and videos, or images we provide for the program.
- Keep content respectful, family-friendly and true to your personal style.
✕Don't
- Call moissanite a "diamond", or call vermeil "solid gold". Never make false or exaggerated product claims.
- Bid on "Topsy Jewels" or our brand terms in Google, Bing or other paid search ads.
- Post your code on coupon, deal or cashback websites, or in unrelated groups.
- Use your link or code for your own purchases or your household's.
- Send spam, unsolicited messages or misleading ads.
- Create accounts, pages or ads that look like they belong to Topsy Jewels.

Program Terms
The fine print
- The Open access program is open to all creators through Shopify Collabs. Tier One is by invitation only, at the discretion of Topsy Jewels.
- Commission is earned only on eligible orders tracked to your affiliate link or discount code through Shopify Collabs.
- Orders that are returned, refunded, cancelled, charged back or found to be fraudulent are not eligible, and any commission paid on them may be deducted from future payouts.
- Discount codes cannot be combined with other offers unless stated, and codes shared on coupon or deal sites may be deactivated.
- Creators are responsible for following advertising and disclosure laws in their country, and for any taxes on their earnings.
- Breaking the program rules may lead to removal from the program and loss of unpaid commission.
- Topsy Jewels may update the commission rate, rules or terms at any time. Active creators will be notified of material changes by email.
- Creators are independent partners, not employees or agents of Topsy Jewels.

Frequently asked questions
How much commission do I earn?
You earn 10% of the eligible order value (the product price after discounts, excluding taxes and shipping) on every order placed through your personal affiliate link or discount code.
How and when do I get paid?
Commissions are paid monthly through your Shopify Collabs account. An order's commission is approved once our 30-day return window has passed, then it is included in the next monthly payout.
How much is the follower discount?
Your personal code gives your followers 10% off their order. The code cannot be combined with other discount codes or promotions unless we say so.
Do I need a minimum number of followers?
No. Anyone can join our Open access program, whatever the size of their audience.
Is it free to join?
Yes. Joining the Topsy Jewels Creator Program is completely free. You only need a free Shopify Collabs account.
Can I earn commission on my own purchases?
No. Orders you place yourself, or orders for your own household, are not eligible for commission.
What if a customer returns their order?
Commission is only paid on orders that are kept. Returned, refunded, cancelled or fraudulent orders are not eligible.
Do I need to be approved?
No. You join our Open access program instantly and can start sharing straight away. Tier One is our invite-only program for top creators: we reach out personally, so there is no need to apply for it.
